Project Nomad is a handy and convenient system that helps users set up their workstation with ease in a modern unassigned seating arrangement. The system focuses on hot-desking storage systems and carrying kits. The entire design process from interviewing the users, generating prototypes and manufacturing the products was all completed in an extremely short cycle time of 8 weeks.
This study analyzes the effect of capturing user needs through the evolution of a product. Due to the short timeframe, the team had to adapt existing methods and prototyping principles into the Rapid Response System following the DI process. This design opportunity was used to study how user needs evolve after experiencing a product over a period of time.
